Tracy Camilla Johns is an American actress born on April 12, 1963, in Queens, New York City, United States. She is best known for her role as Nola Darling in Spike Lee's first feature film, She's Gotta Have It (1986). She has also appeared in films such as Mo' Better Blues (1990) and The Cosby Show (1985-1987). Johns started her acting career in theater, including Off-Broadway productions. She attended the New York High School of Performing Arts and graduated from Wesleyan University. After stepping away from acting, Johns became a yoga instructor in Los Angeles.
